"Luxury camp in Kumbh Mela" can mean anything from a shared shamiana to a tent nicer than most hotel rooms. Here are the three tents we put up at every Pulp Hotels Kumbh camp — for the Haridwar Kumbh 2027 at Bairagi Camp, Neel Dhara, Daksh Dweep and Rishikesh, and for the Simhastha in Nashik and Ujjain — with real photos, so you know exactly what you are booking.

Deluxe Tent — simple, clean and comfortable

The Deluxe tent is a Swiss cottage tent with twin beds (or a double on request), solid wooden furniture, a small sit-out table with two chairs, a wardrobe rack and a carpeted floor. The attached bathroom has a wooden washbasin stand and hot water.

Best for: pilgrims who want a clean private tent and bathroom inside the mela without paying for extras; two friends or a couple.

The Luxury tent is larger, with a four-poster canopy king bed, block-printed tent lining, a seating corner and a proper attached bathroom with a western toilet, shower and a vessel washbasin.

Best for: couples and older parents who want hotel-level comfort, and anyone staying more than two or three nights.

The Royal tent stands on a raised wooden deck with its own lit sit-out. Inside: a four-poster canopy king bed, a large wooden wardrobe, and a wood-panelled bathroom with a stone-top vanity and a walk-in shower.

Best for: families, special occasions, and anyone who wants the most space and privacy for the Amrit Snan days.

What every tent includes

  • Attached bathroom with hot water
  • Electricity, lights and charging points
  • Warm bedding in winter (Haridwar) or coolers in summer (Ujjain)
  • Sattvic vegetarian meals and drinking water
  • 24-hour security, and help reaching the ghat on snan days

How to choose

Pick Deluxe for value, Luxury for comfort, and Royal for space. Whichever you choose, book the big snan days early — for Haridwar that is Makar Sankranti (14 Jan), Mauni Amavasya (6 Feb) and the Amrit Snan days (6 Mar, 8 Mar, 14 Apr 2027).
