Hotel Aashiyana, Barkot

Barkot–Yamunotri road hotel at Rudi Ghati with Yamuna-valley views, deluxe and family rooms, hot water, a restaurant and a doctor on call.

Hotel Aashiyana stands on NH-94 at Rudi Ghati on the Barkot–Yamunotri road, looking over the Yamuna valley. Barkot is where most pilgrims spend the night before the drive to Janki Chatti and the walk to Yamunotri Dham, so the hotel is a handy, sensible base on the yatra. It offers three room types for different group sizes: a Deluxe Room and an upgraded Super Deluxe Room for couples, and a Family Room for small groups, each with an attached bathroom, hot water, a wardrobe and a TV, with extra blankets for the cold. A multi-cuisine restaurant and room service cover meals, and the hotel runs power backup, daily housekeeping and a doctor on call for yatris. Reserve online and pay on arrival at the hotel after the property confirms.
