Haridwar Kumbh 2027: Official Website, Logo and Theme Song Launched
Haridwar Kumbh 2027 now has an official website, haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in, launched with its logo and theme song on 12 October 2026. What it means for your trip.

The Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2027 has an official website: haridwarkumbh.uk.gov.in. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched it on Monday, 12 October 2026, at the auditorium of the Mela Control Building in Haridwar, together with the mela's official logo and its theme song. The state government says the website is where devotees in India and abroad will find authentic information on the Kumbh and its arrangements, which matters for anyone planning a trip: until now, official Kumbh notices came only through the Haridwar district site and the press.

What this means if you are planning a trip
Bookmark the official website and check it before you travel, especially in the week before a snan day: traffic diversions, parking areas, shuttle arrangements and any changes to the bathing schedule are the kind of notice it is set up to carry. Be wary of look-alike sites, and of anyone who claims to sell "official" Kumbh tents, passes or VIP bathing slots: the government site is the official source, and private camps and hotels, including Pulp's, are not part of it.
Rooms near Har Ki Pauri and the camps at Bairagi Camp, Neel Dhara and Daksh Dweep go first for Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya and the Amrit Snans. To compare areas, see staying near Har Ki Pauri and the Makar Sankranti snan guide; for rooms, see hotels in Haridwar and, about an hour upstream, hotels in Rishikesh.

Pulp Hotels Team
The Pulp Hotels Team is the desk that runs Pulp Hotels and the verified properties on this route — Barkot, Uttarkashi, Harsil, Guptkashi, Joshimath, Badrinath and the Kedarnath valley. We deal with the owners of those hotels, and with the pilgrims staying in them, through every day of the season, and these guides are written and corrected from that work and from the official notices each season brings. Fares and opening dates change every year, so we leave them out on purpose and point you at the source instead.
