Trimbakeshwar from the air, and a camp stay for the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha 2027: the Amrit Snan dates, Ramkund or Kushavarta, and how to book a tent.

A drone shot over the black-stone Trimbakeshwar temple and its courtyard, the town and green hills under low monsoon cloud behind it, with the title “Kumbh 2027 — Bookings Open”.

Two bathing places, one Simhastha

The Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha is held at two places on the Godavari, about 28 to 30 km apart. Vaishnava akharas bathe at Ramkund in Nashik and Shaiva akharas at Kushavarta in Trimbakeshwar, the temple town in the video. The Amrit Snans fall on 2 August, 31 August and 11 September 2027 at Ramkund, and 12 September 2027 at Trimbakeshwar.

Our camp is in Tapovan–Panchavati, a short walk from Ramkund, with Trimbakeshwar an easy day trip for darshan. The Nashik Simhastha guide has the dates, both ghats and where to stay.

A monsoon Kumbh

The clouds on the hills are the season you will meet: the Nashik Amrit Snans fall in the monsoon. Tents are Deluxe, Luxury or Royal, each with an attached bathroom with hot water, and meals are sattvic vegetarian. Call or WhatsApp the Kumbh desk with your snan date and the number of people; it quotes for those dates and you pay at the camp. See every Nashik option on the Kumbh Mela Nashik page.

Book a Kumbh Mela camp

Call or WhatsApp Ashutosh Kumar on +91 93891 86101. Your tent is quoted for your dates and you pay at the camp — nothing is charged to ask.
